Refund policy

You can cancel any online order within 7 days of receiving it, and faulty goods are covered for 6 months.

Changed your mind (7-day cooling-off)

  • You may cancel your order without giving a reason within 7 days after you receive it, as the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act allows.
  • Return the item complete, with all accessories, manuals and packaging, and in the condition you received it.
  • The only cost to you is the courier fee to send it back. We refund the full purchase price within 30 days of your cancellation, using the payment method you used.

Faulty items

  • If an item is faulty within 6 months of delivery, you may choose a repair, a replacement or a refund, as the Consumer Protection Act allows. We pay the return courier.
  • After 6 months, the manufacturer's warranty applies. We'll help you log the claim with the brand or its service centre.
  • Damage caused by misuse, drops, liquid, power surges or unauthorised repairs is not covered.

Wrong or damaged on arrival

  • Tell us within 2 working days of delivery, with a photo of the item and the box. We collect it and send the right item at no cost to you.

How to return an item

  1. Contact us through the Contact page on shop.tenzbuild.co.za with your order number and the reason.
  2. We confirm the return and send you the courier details.
  3. Once we receive and check the item, we process your refund, repair or replacement.

Data stored on a returned drive, laptop or other storage device may be erased. Please back it up and remove your accounts before you send it back.
